Volunteer with Farnham Voice#

Farnham Voice is a grassroots volunteer effort. Everything we do depends on people who care about their community giving a little of their time.

There are three ways to get involved — pick whichever suits you best.

Raise awareness#

Help us reach more people by sharing surveys and updates within your networks.

This could be as simple as forwarding a survey link to a neighbour, sharing a post on a local Facebook group, or mentioning Farnham Voice at a community event.

No commitment required — help when you can.

Become a liaison#

If you are a member of a residents’ association, community group, or similar organisation, you can act as a point of contact between your group and Farnham Voice.

Liaisons help us understand which issues matter most to their community, ensure surveys reach the right people, and feed back any concerns or responses from their group.

This is a light-touch role — it means staying in occasional contact and passing relevant information in both directions.

Be a local reporter#

You don’t need to be in a formal group to contribute. If you notice a civic issue in your street or neighbourhood — a road safety concern, a planning matter, a recurring problem that affects the community — let us know.

We assess whether a structured survey would be useful and, if so, take it from there. Your role is simply to flag what you’re seeing on the ground.
