Farnham Voice believes in responsible and respectful use of community data.
We collect only the information needed to represent the community effectively.
What we may ask for#
To help us understand local issues properly, we may ask for:
- Your name
- Your road
- Your house number
- Your age group
- Your local association or community group
Why we ask for this information#
This information helps us contact residents affected by specific local issues, understand concerns within individual roads or wards, measure how widely an issue affects the community, understand which age groups are represented in survey results, and combine feedback across Farnham where appropriate.
What we do not collect#
We do not collect information about race or ethnicity, gender or sexuality, religious beliefs, or other personal characteristics unrelated to local issues.
How results are published#
Survey results are published in anonymous, grouped form. Individual responses are never published or shared.
How information is stored#
Contact details collected through the mailing list sign-up are stored securely and used only to send relevant survey invitations and updates.
We do not sell, rent, or share contact data with third parties.
Your rights#
You can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, correct any inaccurate information, or remove you from the mailing list at any time.
