Current Surveys#

This page lists surveys currently open to the Farnham community.

Surveys are short and focused. We keep them as brief as we can without losing the value of the answers — most take under five minutes to complete.

We are working on the following topics:

  • Safe Crossings — pedestrian crossing safety at several locations across Farnham. We’re gathering local knowledge now, before any survey.
  • Traffic Calming — vehicle speeds on several Farnham roads. We’re gathering local knowledge now, before any survey.
  • Local Developments — community views on local development proposals. Details are still being clarified and will be updated as information becomes available.

Traffic & Safety on Castle Hill#

Your overall views on traffic, safety, and how Castle Hill feels to use as a resident, pedestrian, or driver — including Castle Street and up into Folly Hill.

You must be signed up to our mailing list for your response to be counted — this is only used to verify you’re a real, unique respondent (see Data & Privacy) and your email is never shared without your consent on a per-survey basis.

So if you tick the survey’s consent box, you’re agreeing to share that response with the council, including your email, only if needed. If you don’t, your response stays completely anonymous.

If you have trouble filling in the survey, please let us know and we will see what we can do to help.

For the crossing and calming topics above we’re currently gathering local knowledge by email, so that any survey we run is focused and useful. Add your thoughts on the relevant page, or join the mailing list to be notified when more surveys open.

How surveys work#

Each survey is designed around a specific local issue. You will be asked about your area, your age group, your views on the issue, and your opinions on possible solutions.

Responses are anonymous in published results. Your personal details are never shared.
